Monitoring

MONITORING OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

There is no shortage of opportunities. There is a shortage of time to find them.

Every week European, national, regional and chamber-of-commerce calls are published. Reading them all is impossible and pointless: almost none of them fit you. Our job is to get to the few that do, and to get there early.

From everything published, to what concerns you

FIVE FILTERS

We monitor more than 500 sources of national and international funding. What reaches you is not a list of calls: it is what is left after five filters.

All the sources under watchmore than 500: European, national, regional, chambers of commerce
Open in the perioddeadlines compatible with your timescales
Relevant to your sectorsubject and purpose consistent with what you do
Eligible for youlegal form, size, location, requirements
Genuinely sustainableco-funding, timescales, obligations
The fifth filter is the one that makes the difference. A call you are eligible for is not automatically a call that is worth it: if the co-funding is out of reach, if the timescales do not hold, or if the obligations cost more than the grant, we tell you before, not after.

Where we look

Not only the portals everybody knows. Many good opportunities sit where almost nobody looks, and close quietly.

  • European programmesDirect and indirect management, research calls, cooperation and transnational networks.
  • National instrumentsMinisterial measures, business incentives, funds for research and innovation.
  • Regional programmesThe lines of action of Sicily and of the other regions where you operate.
  • Chambers of commerceVouchers and grants, often small but quick to obtain.
  • Foundations and private callsInitiatives by private bodies and banking foundations, little watched and little known.
  • Rolling windowsFirst-come-first-served measures: here what counts is arriving early, not arriving polished.

What reaches you

One sheet for every alert. Six headings, always the same, so you can decide in five minutes without opening the call.

More than reading calls

Monitoring exists to support decisions. To decide well, sometimes you have to leave the office.

Research, analysis and institutional relations

Alongside monitoring we carry out the work needed to understand whether an idea has a market and whether the context supports it, and to build in advance the relationships that will be needed when the call is published.

Market and competitive context analysis Search for national and international partners Missions to institutions and programmes Early reading of the programming documents Direct contact with the offices managing the measures Strategic assessment of the thematic priorities
Would you like to know whether there is something for you right now?
Tell us what you do and what you would like to do. We look at what is open now and tell you whether it is worth moving.
